A heart thats open
A simple seed
The word from heaven
Planted in me
As I hope and wait
For things unseen
My desire gives place
For believing

Through the eyes of my faith
I watch and I wait
And tend to the fertile soil of my heart
And the light shines on me
Given light to the seed
Deep in the fertile soil of my heart

Pure and delicious
Precious and sweet
Life everlasting
The fruit of this tree
And I know the seed
Is good and true
Its alive in me
And its taking root

Living water in me
Gives life to the seed
